The Rexburg Easter Egg Hunt was a spectacular event this past weekend with approximately three thousand people.  There were many activities for both children and adults.

The Easter Bunny made a grand entrance as he came in on a Fire Engine for the children.  There was 11,000 eggs stuffed with candy and certificates for free gifts.  Twenty bicycles were donated by twenty amazing businesses.  Bounce Your World provided inflatable toys for the kids to play on.  There was a live bunny that hoped around all the Easter Eggs.

Two special ladies from Relay for Life that were present in which there was a table from which they sold baked food goodies of which the funds are going to the American Cancer Society to aid with the fight to eliminate cancer.

An additional forty-five area businesses or individuals donated items or cash which greatly contributed to the Easter Egg Hunt’s great success.

Next year we look forward to continual success for the Rexburg Easter Egg Hunt.  For anyone interested in donating or participating, please contact Jana Bishoff with the Kiwanis Club at (208) 419-5141 or by email at
