After being featured in the sold-out 2016 Christmas concert at BYU-Idaho, David Archuleta will return to campus with a concert of his very own. Since becoming a star when he was just 16, David has created a successful music career for himself. The young Utahn signed with Jive Records and his first single “Crush” became an instant hit. He has released several albums, including David ArchuletaChristmas from the HeartDavid Archuleta – Glad Christmas Tidings (the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s holiday album), ForevermoreBegin, and No Matter How Far. In 2012, David put his singing career on hiatus so he could volunteer for a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santiago, Chile. He returned from Chile in March 2014, eager to perform and record once again. Since his return he’s traveled to the Middle East to perform for U.S. troops, recorded the song “Glorious” for the Meet the Mormons movie, and been busy writing songs for a new album.
