Just 4 Kids opens its doors for Rexburg Youth

Just 4 Kids urgent care hosted a ribbon cutting July 6 to celebrate the opening of their Rexburg location at 1218 Bond Ave. This is the company’s third location in southeast Idaho with other stores being located in Idaho Falls and Pocatello.

“Our mission is to take care of kids primarily,” said Dr. Steve Bebe, the head doctor at Just 4 Kids. “We’ve really stepped up for that and are excited about that. We want kids to have a good experience with a friendly environment, and parents to get reassured and peace of mind.

The urgent care is open seven days a week from 10 a.m to 10 p.m. and specializes in pediatrics and working with kids “cradle to college.”

According to their website, some of the services they provide are:

— treatment for fever and other common illnesses. Patients can come in and get tested for illnesses such as the flu, pink eye or ear infections.

— sports and LDS mission physicals

— flu shots

— injuries and x-rays

— allergic reactions. Patients can receive an evaluation on common allergy symptoms or for skin irritation.

— laceration repair. Just 4 Kids offers stitches, skin glue, staples and minor burn repair.

— on-site testing. Just 4 Kids offers Mono, Flu, Strep, COVID, and RSV tests.

Even though the relationships, Just 4 Kids has with other community practices are more informal, Bebe still values them.

“The affiliations that we have with other practices and medical establishments in town are more peer to peer, sitting on committees together, working together doing things you can do for the community,” Bebe said. “We have several people that have put in 45 plus hours learning how to take care of child abuse, sexual abuse in addition to just general pediatrics and care medicine. We’re committed to doing things that are really a service project. It’s not a moneymaker, but it’s something we feel strongly about, being able to take care of those difficult populations. It’s a labor of love.”
