Each year in March the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce has a Farmer Merchant Banquet to honor the farmers, business people, professionals and the citizens in our community. This year the banquet will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 6:00 pm at the Madison High School. We have a wonderful dinner. BYU-Idaho is catering again this year with their fabulous prime rib buffet, chicken, potatoes, vegetables, salads, fruit platter, and desserts. We also have our silent and live auction.
We ask the businesses in the area to donate items, gift baskets or gift certificates for these auctions. It is a good advertisement for your company. Last year we sold over 500 tickets to this banquet. We would like very much to put your company name on any donation you could give us. Your donation needs to be brought to the chamber office or call us and we will pick it up at your business by Monday, March 4, 2019, to make sure your business name is in the auction booklet.
Guess what! You can decorate your table again this year at the Farmer Merchant Banquet. Any business who sponsors a table for 12 or 8 may decorate their table to advertise their business or to match our theme which is “Fields of Success”. If you purchase a whole table, please send us your business logo and we will put it on the other side of the place card. You may also bring brochures or information about your business to put at the 12 or 8 places at your table. Make it “Employee Appreciation Night”. You might win “Best Decorated Table”. You will get to keep the winning trophy at your business until March of 2020!
